My boy, Hollywood Pete just jumped on this new online social shindig. He was telling me all about it last night. It's a new edition to socialization. I personally wouldn't jump into it because of privacy issues, but it seems fun. It basically informs people in your social network (twitter, facebook, etc.) where you are. If I am at In-N-Out in Rosemead, California, I can just check-in via internet mobile phone and it will notify my friends where I am at. It's like an on-board GPS system for your friends. Or to put it in a bad way, an ankle bracelet powered by GPS for your parole agent. You can win awards like Mayor of Alhambra, California. But that's if you can out beat the other social butterfly.
