Tax Payers Pay for MJ's Funeral

Los Angeles tax payers will need to shed out $2 million for Michael Jackson's funeral ceremony that was held at Staples Center. That's BS!

I didn't attend and I didn't watch the ceremony on television. I was where I should have of been, at work. Why should I have to pay for his ceremony? Who is he to me? They should have charged attendees and ticket holders. It did come with a big performance. They should have taxed the media outlets as well. Now citizens are left to pay $2 million for the LAPD's help. That's why our government is broke. They don't know how to capitalize on these type of occasions. How about AEG? They donated the venue.

Am I heartless? I don't think so. They wouldn't do this for me and you.
